What Will Young Thug's Slime City Look Like

When Young Thug turned 30, he received an unusual gift: a 100-acre tract of land just outside Atlanta, gifted to him by his manager.

The ambitious rapper already has a plan for the area, and has dubbed it "Slime City." As you might expect based on the play on "SimCity," the plan is a thriving mini metropolis.

Among the things you can eventually expect to find:

1. Housing

Young Thug says that his most important plans for the town involve giving back to the community. Slime City will have nice houses in the area, surrounded by some far out amenities.

2. Festival grounds

Every year, Young Thug hosts the SlimeFest music festival. Once his Slime City is up and running, he'll be bringing the annual party to his own back yard.

3. Camping

Every festival needs camping available. An area of the land will be turned into camp grounds, presumably so people can take a rest between sets at the festival grounds. He also plans summer camps for local Black youth.

4. A dirt bike trail

The large property will have dirt bike trails woven through it, where kids can ride bikes and four-wheelers out in natural surroundings.

5. A water park

Atlanta summers get hot. Having a great place to cool down will be one of the perks available to visitors or residents of Slime City.

The rapper has already consulted with both engineers and architects about the project. Construction is set to begin as soon as they have approval and permitting from the city.

Other ambitious plans for the community include clean and sustainable energy. The rapper has even reached out to Elon Musk to see what it'd take to get the new city run on solar.

Musk was quick to respond to Young Thug's public Facebook post: "Talk to me in private."
